Gary J. Garrison, D.D.S. has practiced general dentistry for the past
years. The first 28 years, Dr. Garrison practiced in Katy, Texas in a partnership with his life-long friend, Dr. Thomas Harrison. They were fortunate to be a part of the rapid growing Katy area, building a busy practice over those 28 years. Dr. Garrison sold his practice in March, 2007 to one of his associates, Dr. Garrett Bethke.
Now Dr. Garrison is pleased to be in a new practice with his son, Austin J. Garrison, D.D.S. in North San Antonio, Texas. The father and son team feel that the blending of Gary’s years of experience with Austin’s training in the latest of dental techniques and technologies will make their new practice a very special and progressive one.
Dr. Garrison feels very blessed to have been able to first practice for years with his best friend and now to have the opportunity to practice with his son. What more could a person ask for!
Dr. Garrison has been married to his wife, Susie, for
years. They are proud of their twin children, Austin Garrison and Emily Grigsby. Austin is a recent graduate of The University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. He is married to Ashley Garrison, who is a high school teacher and head girl's soccer coach at Lady Bird Johnson High School in the North East Independent School District of San Antonio. Austin and Ashley reside in the Bulverde and Evans Road area, North of San Antonio and near the dental office. Emily is married to Will Grigsby, Ph.D. and they reside in Austin, Texas. Emily is a Master Degreed registered nurse, who is a professor at Austin Community College and working at South Austin Hospital. Her husband, Will, is a Ph.D. physicist working at BAE Systems in Austin.
Dr. Garrison is an avid sports fanatic. He enjoys following his beloved Texas Longhorns in all sports, especially the national champion football team. Likewise, he enjoys the great outdoors, with fishing being his real passion. Gary and Susie reside at Canyon Lake, which they consider their “little piece of heaven.” |
